Tandem rollers

Tandem rollers are equipped with two drums, hydrostatic drive and vibration or oscillation system as well. Depending on the machine design, a distinction is made between articulated steering and all-wheel steering. Articulated tandem rollers are steered by their three-point pendulum articulated joint which is located in the centre of the machine. All-wheel steered tandem rollers have a pivot steering that allows you to steer each drum individually or both drums together. Due to the different types of steering these rollers are very versatile machines in road construction.
